Niall joined Radio Guys in 1990 after
graduating from London University with a degree in French, and like many,
looking to start a career in broadcasting. Instead, a successful career in
hotel management pursued, and the hospital radio days quickly transformed
themselves into a charitable and fun way to break up the monotony of having to
change trains at London Bridge on the way home.
After several years on Channel 1 learning from the Dream Team (Ross, Paul, Dan, Darren and Kevin) Niall’s “Muzik Non-Stop” show switched to GST Gold and predominantly played a mix of easy listening latin, soul, and jazz. Over the course of eight years Niall probably tried a slot on most days but Thursday nights stick in his mind the most.
His career has now brought him to manage a hotel in Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands where he lives with his wife and two young daughters. Hobbies now include surfing, beach and building sand castles with the girls, still with that easy latin, soul and jazz soundtrack.
