Richard and Jane became proud parents when Caroline Helena Welton Young arrived on 19th August at just under 7lbs. Richard says "Caroline is now six weeks old and all systems are certainly go. She is doing very well - both myself and Jane are struggling to catch up!". |

Young and his partner Jane announced at the Radio Guy's reunion dinner on 3rd April 2004, that
they are expecting the birth of their first child in August.
All of their friends and former colleagues at the radio station offer their warmest congratulations. Watch out for the baby pictures on this web site next autumn! |
NIALL WALLIS BACK ON THE AIR WAVES
| Niall
Wallis who broadcast at Radio Guy's on both GST Channel 1 and GST Gold
during the 1990s, can now be heard on the air in Fuerteventura, one of the
Canary Islands.
Niall lives on the island with his wife and two young daughters, where he is the general manager of a large five-star hotel. To unwind from the trials and responsibilities of running a successful flag-ship hotel, Niall broadcasts some evenings on a local English-language radio station called QFM. |

He says the format of his show is much the same as his old Radio Guy's programmes, being a mixture of jazz, blues and off-beat tracks from around the world. Next time you are in the north of Fuerteventura or the south of Lanzarote, try tuning in to QFM, and bring back the memories of the old days at Guy's.
