PRINT
BOX CHALLENGE RULES
1.
There will be three rounds per club year.
2.
Each round will consist of two prints from each
member – a Set Subject and an Own Choice.
3.
Members will be able to suggest set subjects.
4.
Each print should be no bigger than 5 inches x 7
inches.
5.
Prints need to be mounted on a piece of card to
prevent damage but can be flush mounted.
Mount not to exceed 8 inches x 10 inches.
6.
Each print to be clearly identified with title and
if set subject or own choice.
No Name!
7.
At the beginning of each round the prints to be
given to organiser in a folder with members name on it.
8.
Members must be prepared to pass the box on to
another participant between club meetings if necessary.
9.
A book will be provided and each member will select
a first, second and third place from Own Choice prints and a
first, second and third place from the Set Subject prints.
(Obviously not judging their own entries!)
10.
The organiser will add the points at the end of each
round –
1st
place = 3 points
2nd
place = 2 points
3rd
place = 1 point.
11.
At the end of three rounds the winner will be the person
with the most points.
12.
There will be a trophy for the first place in Set Subject
and a trophy for the first place in Own Choice.
Certificates will be awarded to first, second and third
places in both categories.
